Sales Exceed $320 Million for Remaining 403 Bella Collina Homesites Montverde, Fla. -- (April 25, 2005) –
Before an eager crowd of more than 3,000 prospective buyers, Ginn Clubs & Resorts sold all 403 homesites available at Bella Collina for more than $320 million on Saturday, crushing the Florida record for highest one-day sales. The company set the previous record nearly one year ago to the day, when it sold the first 400 homesites at Bella for $174 million in just four hours. Potential owners came from across Florida and around the world to preview the property at the exclusive private club.
While guests participated in grape stomping and kids enjoyed a marionette show, homesites sold in rapid succession in under three hours. Approximately 320 golf view homesites that overlook the Nick Faldo Championship Golf course sold for $490,900 to $935,900, while more than 80 homesites overlooking private Lake Siena sold for more than $1.5 million. The company recently selected world-renowned Marsh & Associates, Inc. (MAI) as the architect for the community’s exclusive “members-only” Clubhouse. The approximately 50,000 square-foot Clubhouse will service the Nick Faldo Championship designed golf course and will include a full-service health spa, luxury locker rooms, a full-service restaurant and bar, lounges, banquet facilities, a 19th hole bar area and a golf-turnaround food-service area. The Italianate Clubhouse will feature unique, original artwork and furnishings to match the Tuscan-rooted design, enhancing the architecture and authenticating the interior.
