Kids Tear Through Giant Sign to Celebrate Opening of Playground

Today representatives from Ginn Clubs & Resorts and Wharton-Smith, Inc., presented a $20,000+ playground to the Town of Montverde. Local children were on hand to help open the new playground. In a unique twist to the traditional ribbon cutting, children ran and tore through a giant sign “football style” to get to the playground. Ginn Clubs & Resorts has donated the structure and Wharton-Smith, Inc., a contractor for Ginn Clubs & Resorts, donated the time and labor to install it. The playground is located in Kirk Park in Montverde, just down the road from Bella Collina, a Ginn Clubs & Resort community currently under development.
